Love The Ice.

I never like the cold but if it is cold and cool just like this,
I can live there!

"This is the Ice Hotel in JukkasjÀrvi, Sweden, a tourist attraction that's being rebuilt every year, since 1990.
The entire hotel is made completely out of ice blocks taken from the Torne River - even the glasses in the bar are made of ice. The hotel has more than 80 rooms and suites, a bar, reception area and church. The hotel only exists between December and April. Each room is unique and the architecture of the hotel is changed each year, as it is rebuilt from scratch. (Wikipedia)"

Aman Resort, Beijing, China

This is one of my most favorite places to stay.
I would stay there every night if I can. It is like a home.
I feel like it is a private villa since each unit is very private and separated peacefully.
From Aman Resort, I have a private access to Summer Palace to
enjoy the beautiful sunset whenever...
You can access the palace after it is close or when there are no tourists there.
It was an amazing experience!
The sunset will never be the same :)

 The court yard

The main entrance

the pond in the middle of the resort, where there is live traditional Chinese performance playing

The master painting in resort's art gallery area. There are lots of different activities everyday.

Le Pain Quotidien

What a lovely breakfast...
Just as simple as delicious!

southwestern black bean burger

Southwestern black bean burger
(adapted from The Kitchen Sink)
2 cans of black beans
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 T cumin
1 T chili powder
1/4 t chipotle powder
1/4 t cayenne powder
a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce (optional)
1/2 t salt
3 T greek low-fat yogurt (or soy yogurt or soy milk + vinegar)
3/4 c oat bran
1/4 c wheat germ
1 T ground flax seeds
1/4 c cilantro
1 lime, juiced
3 T olive oil
8 hamburger buns, warmed
In a blender or food processor, blend together 1 can of beans, garlic, yogurt and spices. When that’s blended, dump into a bowl along with the remaining can of beans, oat bran, wheat germ, flax, cilantro and lime. Stir everything with a wooden spoon until you reach a consistency that is enables you to form patties. Too soft? Add in more oat bran. Too stiff? Add in a bit of water. Shape patties into 8 burgers and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over med-high heat and brown each side, about 3 minutes per side or until slightly crispy. Want to top each burger with a slice of cheese? Do so and pop in the oven along with the burger buns until melted. Top with salsa and guacamole.

Fun style shots from Swedish wallpaper company DecorMaison

DecorMaison featured their collection in September, called Oas (Oasis in English). The collection is designed by textile designer, Teija Bruhn where nature has always been a major inspiration for her and for this collection. Graphic flowers in colorful composition dominate the designs intended to create peace and quiet in one's personal space.

Merus Winery, Napa Valley

This is the place to be for th super fine wine lovers :)

Welcome to Merus, a "designer" winery like no other. Located in the Napa Valley in California, Merus looks more like a Michelin-starred restaurant than your average cellar-door retail outlet. Exposed beams are the only nod to the past in this interior design strategy, which is thoroughly modern with a hint of Californian warmth.
