The Waterhouse at North Bund, Shanghai by Chinese architects NHDRO

The Waterhouse at North Bund is a very interesting adaptive reuse project in Shanghai by Chinese architects NHDRO. This former Japanese army headquarters from the 1930's has been converted to a boutique hotel and beautifully articulates the distinction of old and new, retaining the rawness of the building's stripped concrete and brick walls to contrast the crisp modern detailing and a new Corten steel addition on the roof.  Check out more here.

  1. Jaypee group has done wonders in terms of creating some classic boutique hotels in New Delhi according to their expertise. The group believes in offering world class hospitality to its visitors no matter what. Hence, for an experience worth cherishing, one can easily go for Jaypee hotels and resorts.
