Macaron Testing

These days everywhere I turn around, I see these little devilicous colorful cookies.

I can't resist to try every color of them.

Below are some of my favorite places to get them!

Ladurée, 864 Madison Avenue, (646) 558-3157. Open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 6. Macarons in 15 flavors are $2.70 each.

 

Vendôme, Saks Fifth Avenue

Almondine, 85 Water St., 718-797-5026; 442 9th St, St., 718-832-460

at $1.25 a piece. The black currant features a slightly tart filling while the chocolate version comes double-stuffed! It's a tiny piece of Paris right across the Brooklyn Bridge.
